Strength

All HG Entry Systems are built using an all-steel construction 22 gauge
door which is 33% heavier than competitors doors for security and durability.
Because HG doors have absolutely no wood in them, it eliminates warping,
twisting and rotting which occurs on other steel doors with wood components.

Safety

The safety of your home and family is always first. HG doors offer such
features as an 18 gauge steel frame, deadbolt security plates, high-security
six pin locks, and laminated safety glass. Our steel edge door has over ten
times the strength of a wood edge door to protect against forced entry.

Most handlesets and deadbolts are available in bright brass, antique brass, antique nickel and satin nickel finishes. (Tylo and Orion are available in antique brass and bright brass only.) Optional door knockers, mail and magazine slots, kickplates and decorative spring hinges are available for added security, utility and beauty. All hardware orders of antique brass or satin nickel finishes will include matching finish on ball bearing hinges (Optional on American Home Series).
